It is now breakfast time - I dearly want to eat that right now. Sigh.
Wonderful plate and shot. :D

Yummy! I love that the yolk looks a little runny.

Great composition!

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. As are elevenses, lunch, twosies, tea, supper, dinner and the ubiquitous midnight snack...

I agree (though I rarely have brekkie cause I'm usually out the door around 6:15 AM). By Elevenses, hunger from not having brekkie has dissipated. Lunch = twosies. Forget tea and supper. Dinner is a must-have. And where would we be without the ubiquitous midnight snack?

As it happens, this was my "breakfast for supper". It was awesome

I prefer to spend the day "snacking" as opposed to eating large meals but with the modren (sic) life-style this is extremely difficult, sigh.

Prolly wandering around sleep-snacking in the middle of the night...

Looks really, really good!

Oh man I miss early saturday mornings when all I do is watch cartoons and snack. Now I spend it sleeping *sigh*..

Snacking is even better when it's the right food (PB + oreos for me)

I take it you've not had much success in making time to test-run the toaster oven?

:D

LOL! You need to be rich then you could go back to the good old days.

PB and Oreos? I thought you didn't like peanuts...

I'm still learning how to use it. Just completed my first attempt at bruschetta. I'm severely miffed though, the french bread is terrible, it's not made properly and can not be sliced as the middle is so soft that it collapses and leaves a hole in the middle - completely useless...

Americans are losing their pride in a job well done and therefore their ability to do anything right. :(

Someday maybe, someday

I don't like peanuts when it taste like peanuts (or have the texture of mush). But have you ever tasted PB AND Oreos in one bite? The taste and texture mesh quite nicely. The PB gives the oreo the saltiness it lacks and the oreo has enough bitterness (and crunch)that I love. You can barely taste the peanut or feel the goop :)

...Ah well, you can always make your own bread.

Well, *I'm* rooting for you!

Ummm, no. I can't say that the thought ever even crossed my mind. Now that it has I really wish it hadn't. The combination sounds absolutely horrific.

Hmmm, I suppose I could, or I could move somewhere where they know what they're doing (a much more appealing idea in my book).

:lmao:

Well I wouldn't have ever tried it if it wasn't for The Parent Trap (very impressionable, the brain of a 10 year old). It does sound revolting but you know what they say, don't knock it until you try it (or in your case, run far far away!)
