falafels! Not that any such thing is to be found in this part of the South, sigh; it's a wonder I've not starved to death for want of proper victuals.

Tahini... I remember Tahini, fondly. Can't get it here either

Living here is like living in a medieval Dukedom as a serf and subsisting on plain peas porridge and a few greens foraged from the forest, no spices of any sort.

Oh well; lusciously wonderful cooking and beautiful photography as always.
